Jethro Tull was formed in February
1968 by Ian Anderson, Mick Abrahams, Glenn Cornick and Clive Bunker
The Albums "Aqualung", "Thick as a Brick" and "A passion Play"
confirmed the progressive rock tag which complemented other terms
like "Art-rock", "Blues-rock", "Folk-rock", and "Hard-rock", depending
on the critics' own personal view.
With 60 million albums sold and over 2500 concerts played in 40
countries, the band continue to record and perform, typically
100 shows to around 300,000 people each year throughout all the
major rock and roll territories of the world.
